Meindl has crafted handmade walking footwear for over 300 years so they should, by now, know a thing or two about producing a walking boot that hits the top of the charts. So, let us introduce you to one of the brand's best-sellers - the Borneo 2.
Having a sturdy waxed waterproof nubuck leather upper, the Meindl Multigrip outsole is made by rubber sole producers Vibram. This may not be as flexible as some walking boot soles but for the activity for which the boot is truly intended (i.e. easy trekking and low-level mountain hikes) it has good shock absorbing ability for essential surefootedness.
The lining is also of leather making it breathable yet comfortable, and for the heel area Meindl use a memory foam system that avoids the chaffing seam scenario. The Digafix lacing system creates diagonal fixing, allowing tightening at the correct pressure and point, and higher hooks which protrude less. A classic boot in the Meindl line of walking footwear, the Borneo has a loyal following.

Policy:

If you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase we'll be more than happy to help you with an exchange or refund. All items purchased online are eligible for a refund or exchange provided that they are returned to us within 28 days in their original condition with all tags attached.

How to Return:

We do not currently offer a free returns label so we suggest using a Royal Mail Signed For service to return goods to ourselves, and parcels are insured at your own risk. Alternatively you may return your order to one of our stores should you live locally.
